Hello, I’m Deborah Woolley, a Specialist Teacher and SpLD Assessor.

I have over 20 years’ experience in education and specialist assessment, including 17 years working at the University of Cambridge, supporting and assessing students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs). I have also worked across schools, further and higher education, and with adults in the workplace.
​
I provide dyslexia assessments from age 8 through to adulthood, alongside post-16 educational assessment of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), including the exploration of attention/ADHD and dyspraxia/DCD-related characteristics.
I personally carry out each assessment, providing a supportive and reassuring experience tailored to the individual. I take time to understand each person’s background, their current difficulties and their strengths, rather than considering test results in isolation.

Following an assessment, I provide a clear and detailed report explaining the findings, together with recommendations for appropriate support and reasonable adjustments where relevant. My aim is for each person to come away with a clearer understanding of their individual learning profile, including both their strengths and areas of difficulty.
