Deborah Woolley

I am a fully qualified specialist teacher and assessor with over 20 years of experience in education. For the past 20 years, I have conducted diagnostic assessments for both children and adults, including JCQ assessments for GCSE and A-Level exam access arrangements.

For around 16 years, I have worked as a 1:1 study skills tutor and assessor supporting students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) at a local Russell Group University. This role has given me valuable insight into the diverse needs of learners in higher education and the practical steps needed to support their academic success. I also have over 10 years of experience as an associate assessor with DAC, founded by Katherine Kindersley.

I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), which allows me to carry out DSA assessments. I work closely with colleagues in the field of SpLD and am a highly knowledgeable, self-reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development.
With years of training and collaboration, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the complexities of SpLD profiles and the skills to deliver tailored interventions that truly benefit each individual student.
On a personal level, I find great joy in seeing students grow in confidence, succeed in their learning, and achieve their goals. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs— I look forward to working with you.
